Nestled in the calming coastal town of Mirissa, the Siddhalepa Clinic and Showroom project was a unique opportunity to bridge Sri Lanka’s rich Ayurvedic heritage with a fresh, contemporary design approach. Tasked with creating a space that serves both as a healing environment and a product showcase, we drew inspiration from nature, wellness traditions, and modern simplicity.
The goal was to craft a holistic experience—where visitors could feel the essence of Siddhalepa not just through its treatments and products, but through the space itself.
- Nature-Inspired Interiors: Earthy tones, clay textures, and bamboo elements were used to ground the space in natural calm.
- Clinic Design: Treatment rooms were designed to offer privacy and peace, with soft lighting, aromatherapy integration, and ventilation that encourages natural airflow.
- Retail Showroom: Product displays were created using reclaimed timber and handcrafted shelving, allowing the brand’s wellness products to take center stage in a warm, inviting setting.
- Indoor–Outdoor Harmony: Courtyard-style elements, greenery, and transitional pathways helped merge the indoor clinic atmosphere with the outdoor serenity of Mirissa.
- Cultural Aesthetic: Subtle nods to traditional Ayurvedic architecture—such as wooden lattice screens and terracotta accents—honor the brand’s legacy.
